Duties
- Serve as the primary front desk receptionist, greeting visitors and congregation members with friendly, professional demeanor.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, direct calls efficiently, and provide excellent customer support.
- Maintain accurate records using bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, including donations, expenses, and financial reports.
- Handle data entry tasks with precision, including updating church databases, member records, and event schedules.
- Oversee office management responsibilities such as filing, document proofreading, calendar management, and organizing church events.
- Coordinate communication through email correspondence and utilize Google Workspace tools for document creation and sharing.
- Support administrative tasks like proofreading bulletins, managing office supplies inventory, and assisting with personal assistant duties for church leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven office experience with strong clerical skills including filing, data entry, and document proofreading.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Google Workspace and MailChimp applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer literacy with familiarity in multi-line phone systems and office management tools.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions at all times.
