Certified Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking to hire a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant
- PERDIEM schedule.
Certified Physical Therapy Assistant - Qualifications:
- PA Certification as Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Completion of 2-year accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Experience in geriatrics is preferred.
Certified Physical Therapy Assistant - Job Summary:
- Treat residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Document weekly notes, monthly notes, and statistics.
- Train nursing staff and families regarding proper positioning and carry over of PT program.
- Discuss treatment plans and goals with Physical Therapist.
- Modify/adapt wheelchair part(s) and accessories, modifies splints or other assistive devices for residents.
