About the St. Andrews University Campus

Tracing its roots back to 1841 and joining Webber in 2011, the Presbyterian-related St. Andrews University (with a traditional, residential campus in Laurinburg, North Carolina; adult completion sites in Pinehurst, NC; and some completely on-line offerings) offers a broad liberal arts education irrespective of the student’s degree, location, or mode of instruction. Today’s St. Andrews (whose logo is three Scottish flags, and which houses the University’s Scottish Heritage Center with notable holdings relative to the significant Scottish settlement of the region) operates as a branch campus of Webber International University and has evolved, since 1896, through several consolidations and mergers from Flora MacDonald College, Presbyterian Junior College, St. Andrews Presbyterian College, and St. Andrews University.

Located in Laurinburg, Scotland County, North Carolina, the St. Andrews residential campus is a traditional, residential, heavily wooded, rural campus built around a central lake. Facilities include a theatre, a multi-purpose auditorium, a large multidisciplinary laboratory, a state-of-the-art nursing simulation lab, an occupational therapy assistant lab, classrooms, residential dormitories, athletic facilities, abundant open space and so much more. The campus also features one of the finest equestrian facilities in the nation. A hospital, physicians, shopping, schools, hotels, and other services are within a two-minute drive.
