Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Skilled Nurse based in the southern Nevada Area. The Skilled Nurse will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in their homes, including administering medications, monitoring patient health, and creating individualized care plans. The role also involves coordinating with physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, the Skilled Nurse will play a key role in educating patients and families about ongoing care practices and promoting overall health.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive clinical skills in patient assessment, wound care, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices, including electronic health record (EHR) management and accurate record-keeping.
- Ability to develop and implement personalized patient care plans.
- Ability to adapt to diverse situations and environments with professionalism and empathy.
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada; BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health care or a related field.
- Familiarity with home care regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
