POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Health & Well-being Leadership, the Floor Staff is responsible for ensuring the effective and safe operation of the Health & Well-being Center. This includes monitoring equipment usage, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and addressing member needs in a courteous and professional manner. The Floor Staff must consistently uphold the policies and standards set by the South Shore YMCA while providing a high level of customer service to promote member satisfaction, safety, and engagement.

Current Certifications:

Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification

Redwoods Child Abuse Prevention

OSHA/Emergency procedures

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Previous Fitness experience needed

Personal Training certificate preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, swim and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Salary : $15 - $18
