Job Title: Project Engineer - Utility Coordination

Location: Houston, Texas 77002 (On-Site)

Duration: 12 months contract with chances of further extensions

Job Summary: We are seeking a technically skilled engineering professional to support the review of construction activity near pipeline facilities. Our team is looking for someone who can combine strong analytical capability with clear communication to help evaluate encroachment risks, coordinate across stakeholders, and support safe project decisions.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree – Mechanical/Civil Engineering
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication
• Utility Coordination Experience
  
  

Nice To Have

• Ability to read and interpret DOT construction plans
• Experience in Bluebeam Revu
• Experience with API 1102
• Google Earth & GIS Experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Review construction documents, plan and profile drawings, and related submittals to assess proposed work near pipeline facilities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and third parties to confirm scope, resolve conflicts, and incorporate technical evaluations into reports.
• Perform engineering analysis such as stress, seismic, and other required evaluations, and mark up drawings as needed.
• Prepare technical recommendations, stipulations, and mitigation guidance for approval or further pipeline protection actions.
