Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
- Promote integration of advanced technologies—such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage—to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs.
- Implement robust safety measures, including arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems, to ensure reliability and protect personnel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions aligned with customer needs, safety, regulatory standards, and business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, or Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and at least four years of relevant engineering experience.
- Technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for new construction and facility upgrades.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong organizational/interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of reviewing arc flash studies, electrical codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE), and implementing improvements; working knowledge of electrical design tools and commissioning processes preferred.
