A leading global manufacturer of auxiliary equipment for plastics processing is seeking an Electrical Designer to join its engineering team. This company offers innovative solutions for material handling, drying, blending, and extrusion systems, and is recognized for its commitment to process integration and customer support.
Position OverviewThe Electrical Designer will be responsible for designing, detailing, documenting, and modifying new and existing products using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks under the guidance of engineering leadership. This role involves collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and assembly teams to ensure high-quality product development.
Key Responsibilities- Create and update electrical designs, drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) based on established guidelines.
- Design and detail electrical assemblies from verbal instructions, sketches, or existing models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve electrical issues during product development.
- Provide technical data to support sales, marketing, installation, and maintenance.
- Execute engineering change requests (ECRs) and support product sustainment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; SolidWorks experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as UL, NFPA, and CE.
- Ability to work under close supervision and follow clearly defined instructions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Moderate proficiency in MS Office for design calculations and reporting.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation: $85,000-$120,000 ( DOE)
