Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines to ingest data from APIs into centralized databases.
- Develop and maintain structured analytical datasets, integrating legacy SQL Server data with new API-based sources to support consistent reporting.
- Establish data validation, quality checks, and optimize data models for performance and reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with analytics and AI teams, document data models, and manage recurring data refresh processes to ensure dataset accuracy and timely updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering) and 4–6 years of hands-on experience.
- Experience supporting Power BI or similar BI tools, including building models optimized for reporting performance.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and designing relational schemas, with proven experience maintaining relational databases or analytical data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience building and managing data pipelines using APIs, proficiency in Python or similar languages for data ingestion and transformation, and understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and semi-structured data handling.
