Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in automation systems supporting commissioning, startup, and operations for power and energy infrastructure, including BESS, substations, and generation assets.
- Apply specialized knowledge to commissioning plans and procedures, systemization, field resources, and system turnover, while coordinating FAT/SAT activities and managing costs.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Operations, and OEMs to ensure compliance with operational requirements, deliver technical briefings, coordinate system integration, and drive continuous improvement in commissioning processes.
- Provide technical leadership for automation standards, including control system configuration, SCADA integration, system cybersecurity, documentation, and operator training support during commissioning and operational transition.
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in power generation, energy infrastructure, commissioning, or industrial automation.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with an unwavering commitment to safety during energization and high-risk commissioning activities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, field reporting tools, and enterprise automation systems (such as AssetCentre or equivalents) for configuration management, version control, and compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, and field communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, as applicable).
