Job Title: Gas Construction Inspector

Location: Baltimore, Maryland (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-driven quality control professional to support field inspection activities for gas construction work and help ensure work meets required standards. Our team is looking for someone who can confidently inspect construction, document findings, and work independently in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and compliance matter every day.

Responsibilities

• Inspect gas construction work for compliance with required standards, procedures, and safety expectations.
• Read and interpret gas construction prints to verify work quality and alignment with field requirements.
• Capture and collect photos, document findings accurately, and support reporting through MDT use.
• Work autonomously while coordinating with construction and quality stakeholders to address inspection-related issues.
  
  

Required:

• 7 years of gas construction experience.
• Ability to use a personal vehicle.
• Ability to take and collect photos and use MDTs.
• Familiarity with all BGE safety requirements and gas construction requirements for BGE standards.
• Ability to read and interpret gas construction prints.
• Experience with gas service and main work, fusion experience, and common trench experience is a bonus.
• Ability to gain all required OQ for an inspector profile and access BGE gas standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
