Job Title: Automation Engineer

Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support automation systems that keep critical biological processes running smoothly. Our team is looking for someone who can help improve, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems while partnering closely with technical and operational groups to support site activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support process control applications across DCS, HMI, SCADA, and PLC environments.
• Collaborate with scientific and operational staff to translate process requirements into automation and engineering design.
• Participate in root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting for process control issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
• Support design, testing, engineering documentation, system configuration changes, capital projects, startup, commissioning, and ongoing process equipment improvements.
  
  

Required

• Master degree, or Bachelor degree with 2 years of experience, or Associate degree with 6 years of experience, or High school diploma / GED with 8 years of experience.
• Strong control system automation background in design, installation, programming, and validation of automated processes.
• Ability to read and follow electrical and P&ID drawings.
• Must be independent, self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task.
