Manufacturing Engineer

Overview
Seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support automated medical device manufacturing by troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving high-speed packaging and assembly equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing equipment.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Create and maintain work instructions and technical documentation.
- Support mechanical, automation, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Controls, Quality, and Production teams.
- Drive continuous improvement for equipment reliability and uptime.
- Support vision systems, drive motors, serialized manufacturing, and PCB troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with high-speed automated manufacturing equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and RCA skills.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Experience in regulated industries (Medical Device, Food, etc.).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- PLC automation experience.
- PCB hardware/controls troubleshooting.
- Machine vision systems.
- Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Continuous Improvement.
- Experience with automated production/packaging equipment.
