Responsibilities
- Design and validate Gate Driver Boards (GDB) and Power Electronics hardware.
- Develop and troubleshoot high-power inverter circuits.
- Perform Double Pulse Testing (DPT), switching characterization, thermal testing, and hardware validation.
- Conduct root cause analysis of inverter and power module failures.
- Review schematics and PCB layouts using Altium or similar ECAD tools.
- Support prototype development, manufacturing, and supplier qualification.
- Work closely with controls, validation, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of Power Electronics experience.
- Gate Driver Board (GDB) Design.
- Power Board Design.
- IGBT & SiC Power Modules.
- Double Pulse Testing (DPT).
- Hardware Validation.
- Root Cause Analysis.
- Altium Designer.
- MATLAB/Simulink or LTspice.
