Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Medical Physicist to join a dynamic Radiation Oncology team in Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or board-eligible physicist who is passionate about advancing cancer treatment through precision, safety, and innovation.
In this role, you will provide a full range of onsite clinical medical physics support, participate in treatment planning and delivery, and contribute to ongoing clinical trials. You will collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists to ensure the highest quality and accuracy of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive onsite clinical medical physics support for radiation oncology operations.
- Perform and supervise treatment planning and delivery for radiation therapy patients.
- Ensure compliance with all quality assurance, calibration, and safety procedures.
- Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives as assigned.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and professional standards in medical physics.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support regulatory compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Medical Physics or a related field from an accredited institution (required).
- ABR or CCPM Board Certification in Therapy Physics, or Board Eligible (required).
- Proven experience in clinical medical physics, including treatment planning, treatment delivery, and QA procedures.
- Strong understanding of modern radiotherapy techniques, technology, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required based on patient and department needs.
