Job Summary
The duties of the Pro Shop Attendant include collecting retail and fee sales; greeting customers (members, daily green fee players and tournament players); ensuring the Pro Shop and rental equipment are clean and in working order on a daily basis; using the computer reservation system, making tee time reservations for members, non-members and tournaments; working closely with the starters and marshals to ensure smooth operation and traffic flow on the course.

- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Resort standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)
- Comply at all times with Resort standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Answer all incoming calls promptly, in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
- Maintain the Pro Shop in a neat and orderly condition.
- Assist golf pro in pricing merchandise and inventory.
- Receives and responds to complaints from golfers.
- Operates a motor vehicle.
- Maintain accurate files and reports.
- Handle all special reservations, to include V.I.P. reservations, packages and discounts.
- Collects green fees, reserves tee times, sells golf supplies and starts players on the golf course.
- Enforces established rules of course among golfers such as out of bound areas, cart regulations, wearing of proper clothing and practicing at designated sites.
- Knowledge of tournament schedule.
- Employees must, at all times, be friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and all their fellow employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Prior experience working at a golf course with knowledge of the rules of golf preferred
- Experience working in a hotel, clubhouse, or related field preferred
Additional Eligibility Requirements

- Must submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes random testing.
- Must submit to and pass a level 2 background screening
Work Environment

- Required to stand/walk/sit regularly and occasionally for prolonged periods of time
- Must have stamina to work more than the scheduled workday when needed, including nights and weekends.
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
