Job Summary                                                                                                                                      

Under the direction of the Golf Professional and other Pro Shop staff, will attend to the golf cart fleet and driving range.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
2. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Company standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
3. Comply at all times with resort standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
4. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
5. Responsible for staging carts which includes bringing carts from the cart barn in the morning, cleaning, fueling and checking carts after each use and returning carts to cart barn at the end of the day.
6. Ensures that carts are available for player use at all times.
7. Ensures that practice range is open and ready for players.
8. Receives and responds to complaints from golfers.
9. Operates a motor vehicle.
10. Enforces established rules of course among golfers such as out of bound areas, cart regulations, wearing of proper clothing and practicing at designated sites.
11. Works closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments.
12. Knowledge of tournament schedule.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications                                                                                                                                       

• • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Prior experience working at a golf course with knowledge of the rules of golf preferred
  • Experience working in a hotel, clubhouse, or related field preferred

 Additional Eligibility Requirements                                                                                                     

• • Must submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes random testing.
  • Must submit to and pass a level 2 background screening

 Work Environment                                                                                                                              

• • Required to stand/walk/sit regularly and occasionally for prolonged periods of time
  • Must have stamina to work more than the scheduled workday when needed, including nights and weekends.
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
