Summary: Responsible for enhancing and improving the SRHM / [Hotel Name] experience by providing a quality rooms product and service for guests. Demonstrates and promotes SRHM’s core value of the Golden Rule which includes treating others (guests, families, vendors and team members) in the same manner we would like to be treated. Ensures that the daily breakfast is prepared and presented per SRHM and brand standards.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as

• Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
• Ensure beverage stations (coffee, juice, milk) are prepared and adequately stocked during service hours.
• Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
• Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
• Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
• Work as a team player with other team members and management in accomplishing work assignments
• Must provide a safe and clean environment at all times
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety
• Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude with guests, families, team members, vendors and management

*Essential Function
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American measurement of weight, volume and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
