Title: Senior Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician
Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong troubleshooting experience to support a manufacturing environment. This role is focused heavily on diagnosing and repairing equipment issues to keep production running - not just routine preventive maintenance.
The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background and is comfortable working independently to identify issues, perform corrective repairs, and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and machinery
- Perform corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes
- Repair and replace components such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, and conveyors
- Support preventive maintenance as needed, but with a focus on breakdown response
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform equipment adjustments, alignments, and part replacements
- Document work and support continuous improvement efforts
