CMM Inspector (WEEKEND SHIFT)

Our client is an evolving manufacturing client that is in need of a CMM Inspector. They are seeking a skilled CMM Inspector with hands-on experience using Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the dimensional accuracy and quality of precision-manufactured components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metrology, GD&T, and experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

• This is a weekend shift. Three 12 hours shifts or four 10-hour shifts (Friday - Monday).

Qualifications:

• CMM Inspector 3 years experience
• Green card and US Citizen ONLY
• Collaborate with Engineering
• Proficiency with Calypso/Zeiss software
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Experience with other metrology tools (e.g., micrometers, height gauges, surface plates).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace, medical device, or precision manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.
• Knowledge of SPC and data analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software to inspect complex precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to develop and execute inspection plans.
• Perform first article inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections.
• Analyze and report measurement data, identifying trends and potential quality issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve non-conformances.
• Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability in accordance with quality standards.
