Wealth Management Associate – Portland, OR (Hybrid)

A well-established, values-driven wealth management firm is seeking a Wealth Management Associate to join their growing team. This group has been serving clients for over a decade and is known for its collaborative culture, high-touch client service, and commitment to excellence.
Team members work onsite in SW Portland Monday–Thursday (7:30–4:00) and Friday (7:30–2:00). After initial training, the role offers 1–2 remote days per week.
What You Will Do
Exceptional Client Service
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients
- Anticipate client needs, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly
- Partner with custodians and investment managers
- Oversee data gathering and maintain data integrity
- Process money movement transactions per client instructions
Client Meetings
- Participate in client meetings alongside Wealth Managers
- Present ideas and concepts clearly and professionally
- Prepare meeting materials and written summaries
- Create, delegate, and manage post-meeting action items
- Coordinate logistics with clients, internal teams, and COIs
Wealth Planning
- Assist Wealth Managers in producing financial plans
Client Onboarding
- Oversee and coordinate the full onboarding process
Mentorship
- Delegate tasks to Client Service Associates
- Assist with training and development of new or newly promoted team members
Experience & Skills
- 2 years of client service experience within the wealth management industry
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance or related field preferred)
- Series 65 and FPQP/first CFP module—or willingness to obtain within 12–18 months (firm-paid)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM and financial planning/portfolio systems (Salesforce, eMoney, Tamarac, or similar) is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Ability to manage tasks independently and effectively prioritize
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: Typically $80k–$90k
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
