What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trial Attorney position at SR Staffing?
We are seeking a highly experienced Catastrophic Personal Injury Attorney with a strong focus on medical malpractice to join our litigation team. This is a hybrid role based in our Philadelphia office, with expectations of being in office at least one time per week. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex medical negligence cases and a passion for advocating on behalf of seriously injured clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-value medical malpractice cases involving catastrophic injuries
- Conduct case evaluations, legal research, and expert consultations
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and trial proceedings
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients throughout the litigation process
- Immediate first chair docket of complex cases over $1m available
Qualifications:
- 5-12 years of litigation experience, with a focus on medical malpractice and catastrophic injury
- Bar admission in Pennsylvania (required); New Jersey (preferred)
- Demonstrated success in complex personal injury litigation
- Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working fully onsite in a team-oriented environment
- High emotional intelligence and client empathy
