Global Law Firm seeking a Research Services Manager – Operations (People operations). This role sits at the intersection of research strategy, vendor management, and people leadership.
This is a people manager role, responsible for leading, developing, and mentoring staff, while partnering closely with firm leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing electronic and print research subscriptions, including renewals and vendor negotiations
- Ensuring contract compliance, licensing adherence, and usage monitoring
- Partnering with Contracts, Privacy, Security, and Procurement teams on terms and pricing
- Overseeing invoicing and vendor account management
- Leading and developing a team, including coaching, evaluations, and hiring recommendations
- Collaborating with attorneys and business services teams to promote effective use of research resources
A bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s or JD preferred
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
