This role combines hands‑on research expertise, project leadership, and team development, serving as both a subject‑matter expert and a mentor to junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex legal and business research projects tailored to attorney and business needs
- Support Capital Markets and Finance with transaction‑related research, market intelligence, and competitive analysis
- Utilize advanced research platforms including Dealogic, Bloomberg, LSEG Workspace, and Capital IQ
- Synthesize and deliver insights from large, multi‑stream research requests
- Monitor and curate industry, client, and legal news for targeted distribution
- Lead training initiatives and promote research best practices
- Mentor junior team members and support professional development
- Drive collaboration, process improvement, and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or J.D. preferred
- 5 years of relevant professional experience
- 5 years of advanced research or information services experience
