Personal Injury Attorney – Partner Track (Seattle, WA)

A well-established plaintiff-side personal injury practice in Seattle is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with strong litigation skills, the ability to independently run cases, and an interest in a clear and achievable partner track. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney coming from a smaller plaintiff shop who has a modest book of business (not required) and is looking for long-term growth and leadership opportunities.
About the Role
The ideal candidate is an attorney who can manage serious PI matters from intake through resolution, provide a high-touch client experience, and help strengthen and grow the firm’s presence in Washington. Candidates with trial experience or first-chair experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
You will handle a manageable caseload with significant resources behind you, allowing you to focus on high-quality advocacy rather than volume.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management & Litigation
- Serve as first chair on cases, including depositions, mediations, arbitration, and trial.
- Oversee all phases of serious personal injury matters, including litigation strategy, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
- Handle a caseload of approximately 30 matters, generally split between pre-litigation, litigation, and resolution.
Client Relationship Management
- Provide seamless client service from initial onboarding through case closure.
- Maintain strong communication, ensuring clients feel supported throughout their case.
Business Development
- Contribute to long-term firm growth by helping develop new business over time.
- Candidates with an existing book strongly preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- 5 years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience.
- Demonstrated litigation and trial experience (first-chair preferred).
- Ability to independently run cases with support.
- Strong client management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset—interest in helping grow the practice.
- Existing portable business is welcome but not mandatory.
Compensation & Incentives
- Base Compensation: 125,000 - 175,000 base (depending on experience, flexible for candidates bringing large book of business)
- Commission percentage (Receipts-based model—not origination-based)
- Discretionary bonus, historically 10% .
