Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team in Wilmington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex litigation support, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on high-stakes commercial disputes across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents in state and federal courts
- Manage document review and production, including organizing and maintaining case files and databases
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and third-party vendors to support litigation efforts
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
- Prepare deposition and trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials
- Monitor court deadlines and ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural rules
Qualifications
- Minimum 3β5 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably in a law firm setting
- Proficiency in litigation support software and document management systems (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, or similar)
- Strong understanding of court procedures and filing requirements in Delaware and federal courts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
