Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage relationship with external PR agency; ensure seamless coordination.
- Create messaging frameworks to differentiate expertise in competitive practice areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national, legal, business, and industry media.
- Secure high-impact media placements; craft pitches, press releases, and talking points.
- Monitor news cycles for timely visibility opportunities; provide strategic counsel for interviews.
- Collaborate with leadership on visibility strategies tied to business development goals.
- Drive media campaigns for major milestones, lateral hires, case wins, and thought leadership.
- Advise on reputation management and crisis communication protocols.

Qualifications
- Must have prior experience at a law firm (required).
- 15 years of relevant experience in PR, communications, or journalism.
- Strong U.S. media network and proven track record of securing impactful coverage.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
- Exceptional editorial judgment and ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Skilled in AP Style; adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong sense of urgency.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
