Job Overview
The Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support the Licensing Management System (LMS). This role involves developing new modules, enhancing existing functionality, and working within a highly customized Salesforce environment using Lightning Web Components and Apex.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications in a complex enterprise environment

Develop and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex code

Gather and analyze business and technical requirements

Write and maintain technical documentation
-
Perform system updates, testing, and enhancements

Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts
-
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes

Integrate Salesforce with external systems and APIs
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

7 years of experience in Salesforce development

Salesforce Developer Certification (Required)

Strong experience with:

Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC)

HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C#

SOAP-based web services and APIs

Experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, DemandTools, etc.)

Strong knowledge of relational databases and system integration
Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a Salesforce Architect
