- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar hotel management software.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with precision, utilizing hospitality reservation systems to maximize occupancy.
- Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest stay experiences.
- Address guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly with customer service problem-solving skills, and escalate concerns when necessary following hotel emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and special requests while ensuring confidentiality.
- Support night audit functions when required, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management preferred; familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA is highly desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations strategies, and resort or hotel experience is advantageous.
- Ability to handle customer service challenges with professionalism and problem-solving acumen under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for night audit duties and administrative tasks.
