Now Hiring: Pet Groomer or Grooming Assistant
Do you love working with pets? We're looking for a reliable, compassionate, and motivated individuals to join Cindy's team at the Lodge.
Positions Available:
- Experienced Pet Groomer
- Grooming Assistant (experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person)
- Lodging Assistant (entry-level Friendly)
Responsibilities:
- Bathe, brush, dry, and prepare pets for grooming
- Perform breed-specific and pet trims (groomer position)
- Assist groomers with handling, bathing, drying, and cleaning (assistant position)
- Feed, water, and monitor boarding or daycare pets (lodging assistant)
- Clean and Sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Walk dogs and provide potty breaks as needed
- Monitor pet behavior and report any health or safety concerns,
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming and kennel environment
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
- Ensure every pet is treated with patience, kindness, and care
Qualifications:
- Dependable with strong work ethic
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Grooming experience preferred for the groomer position
- Ability to stay active and on your feet for extended periods
