Responsibilities
- Assist professional groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, and trimming dogs to ensure high-quality grooming standards.
- Safely handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments using proper animal restraint techniques.
- Support pet care activities including feeding, walking, and monitoring animals’ health during grooming sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and work areas to promote hygiene and safety.
- Help with pet sitting and kennel duties to ensure animals are comfortable and well-cared-for throughout their visit.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming procedures and special needs.
- Assist with heavy lifting of equipment or large animals as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is preferred.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus.
- Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles enhances your ability to support animal health needs.
