What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician 2 (3pm-11:30pm) position at Springhill Medical Center?
Hours Per Week: 40
Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm, every 3rd weekend. Holidays as needed.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education Requirements:
- Validation of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Job Requirements:
- One year of Phlebotomy experience required .
- Must have the manual dexterity necessary to perform capillary puncture and venipuncture for the collection of specimens, operate instrumentation, perform manual and automated pipetting.
- Must possess good verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
