Part Time Office Clerk The Clerk (part-time) serves as a member of the
Student Financial Services department. This position performs
cashiering, responds to inquiries and provides customer service. The
Clerk (part-time) processes forms, data entry, and other specialized
clerical duties related to financial aid and student billing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide quality
customer service. Respond to inquiries in-person and by telephone, chat
software and email. Disseminate information regarding students\'
financials including financial aid status and tuition and fee billing.
Cashiering/processing of tuition payments via cash, checks, and credit
cards. Provide daily reconciliation of payment activity including the
completion of reconciliation reports. Assists counselors with the
Federal Work Study documentation processing and record-keeping. Support
third party billing and \"Ram Card\" processing for students, faculty,
and staff. Creation of documents including data entry needs to support
student communication. Review, process, and update student related
Forms. Other Clerical Tasks As Assigned And/or Or Required.
Requirements: High School Diploma required. Demonstrated skills in
management of financial transactions, customer service or higher
education, information management, etc. Excellent written and verbal
communication, computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and
Gmail, and the ability to learn new software and other skills as needed.
Familiarity with a higher education environment, information management
software and a demonstrated ability to manage projects to completion
within an organization. Must possess the ability to respond
appropriately in a changing office environment while maintaining the
focus required to see a task to conclusion. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree Experience with Ellucian Colleague EQUIVALENCY
