2024 - 2025 School Year
Position: Substitute Bus Driver
Location: District
Hours: Various
Rate of Pay: $19.23 per hour
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Completion of satisfactory pre-employment drivers training program, basic and advanced bus drivers education program.
- Valid Class B Ohio Commercial Drivers License with school bus and passenger endorsements. Random drug screening as mandated by federal laws.
- Must adhere to US DOT 49 CFR Part 40 Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs.
- Must have five years continuous driving record.
- Be physically qualified as determined by an annual physical examination.
- Record of good attendance and strong work ethic.
- Evidence of good moral character as established in section 3301-20-03 of the Ohio Administrative Code.
- Willingness to participate in future training.
- Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate.
