Summary
Spring Valley Living is seeking a full-time Health Unit Coordinator to serve as a support person for the Skilled Nursing Facility.
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Record medical and administrative information
- Manage staff scheduling
- Greet and guide visitors, families, and residents
- Maintain the daily census report
- Maintain an up-to-date roster of residents and staff
- Answer telephone, deliver messages as necessary
- Maintain a current listing of emergency contacts for residents
- Schedule resident appointments, arrange transportation, and prepare referrals for appointments or transfers
- Assist in the orientation of new employees as needed
- Maintain archived records
- Ensure residents records are flagged for doctor review, correctly filed, and thinned when necessary
- Other tasks deemed necessary by supervisor
