Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Assisted Living. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents, enhancing their quality of life through personalized care and assistance. Your contributions will be vital in fostering a warm and respectful environment.

Schedule

Part-Time Days: weekend and holiday rotation included

Full-Time Evenings: weekend and holiday rotation included

Part-Time Evenings: weekend and holiday rotation included

Part-Time Overnights: weekend and holiday rotation included

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being.
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
• Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving role or personal care assistant position preferred.
• Strong understanding of geriatrics and the needs of elderly individuals.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and staff.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
