What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Spring Lake Winery?
We are seeking servers/bartenders to become an integral part of our team!
You will take orders and serve food and wine tastings to our guests in our tasting room, pavilion, and wine garden, as well as service some of our beautiful events we host.
Looking for staff during the spring, summer and fall season. This position is seasonal and ends around November (depending on business).
Description
- Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the winery
- Wine tastings and food service to guests
- Explain to guests about menu items
- Clean and prepare the dining areas
- Promote upcoming events
- Service private parties (when needed)
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or hospitality
- Ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent team work and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time on different surface types. Ex/ grass, cement, gravel.
