What are the responsibilities and job description for the High Reach Operator position at Spotwork?
We are seeking experienced High Reach Forklift Operators to work in a cold storage produce warehouse. This role involves operating a high reach truck, order selecting, and maintaining accurate and efficient product movement. Candidates must be comfortable working in temperatures between 32–34°F and motivated to meet productivity targets in a fast-paced environment with performance-based incentives.
Responsibilities
- Operate high reach forklift to pick, move, and store products safely
- Perform order selecting and ensure accuracy of picked items
- Load and unload shipments as required
- Work efficiently in a cold storage environment (32–34°F)
- Maintain productivity levels to meet or exceed performance targets
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous Crown high reach forklift experience required
- Order selecting / picking experience required
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs consistently
- Comfortable working in cold storage conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work assigned shifts (1st or 2nd shift) and overtime as needed
- MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST
- There will be a lifting test
Shift Details
Timing:
- 1st Shift: Starts between 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM
- 2nd Shift: Starts between 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Schedule: 4 days/week (4x10-hour shifts)
- Overtime available
Pay Rate:
- $22–$23/hour (base pay)
- Up to $6/hour bonus based on picking performance
- Additional shift bonus for 2nd shift
