What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Centre Associate position at Spotwork?
Responsible for supporting inbound and outbound warehouse operations by following direction from supervisors to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Operate power equipment (including reach truck) to move, locate, stack, and count inventory while meeting safety and productivity standards
- Receive, store, retrieve, and dispatch goods in a timely manner
- Pick and pack orders accurately to ensure damage-free shipment
- Organize and arrange inventory based on WMS and management direction
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized distribution center
- Assist with inventory control and order processing
- Use warehouse systems to track and manage inventory
- Communicate effectively with team members to support daily operations
- Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Requirements
- 1–3 years of warehouse experience required
- Reach truck operating experience required
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Experience with warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and productivity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commitment to safety and workplace standards
Shift Details
- Timing: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM
- Pay Rate: $15-16.50/hr
- Location: Austell, GA 30168
