Position Overview
The Event Sales & Venue Specialist is a dual-impact role responsible for driving studio registration and supporting venue pipeline execution. This role flexes with the business—focusing on sales and studio engagement during booking season, and venue coordination, contracting, and execution during event season.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Growth & Sales Pipeline
This position requires travel to approximately 6-8 regional events lasting 3–5 days each, and 1-2 National events annually, lasting 6–8 days each. The position includes physical activity such as lifting to 50 pounds, setting up equipment, and working in varied environments, including performing arts theaters, convention centers, and hotels. Team members must also be comfortable sharing hotel rooms with same-gender colleagues during event assignments.

Key Responsibilities
Studio Growth & Sales Pipeline
- Identify and prioritize markets requiring sales focus based on registration trends
- Drive outreach through calls, email campaigns, and follow-ups to generate registrations
- Develop new studio leads and market opportunities to expand pipeline
- Build and manage relationships to convert interest into committed registrations
- Execute sales and marketing initiatives that impact bookings and revenue
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline movement, and conversion progress
- Leverage Registration Tracker insights to identify gaps and improve outcomes
- Expand revenue opportunities through social media, advertising, and partnerships
- Own the coordination and execution of venue sourcing and selection aligned with capacity and market demand
- Participate in venue negotiations while maintaining accurate contract records
- Track and manage key deadlines, including deposits, COIs, and contractual obligations
- Maintain accurate venue tracking in Asana across all events
- Own communication of venue details to Production and Operations teams
- Ensure accurate documentation and accessibility of venue information
- Coordinate venue logistics and on-site preparation to support event execution
- Compile and send weekly reports on sales activity, registration, and venue progress
- Maintain organized records for venues, studios, and communications
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and special initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (Preferred)
- Experience in sales, client relations, or pipeline-driven roles
- Experience in events, venues, or logistics is a plus
- CRM and Asana experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High accountability, attention to detail, and self-management
- Willingness to travel and work dynamic event schedules
