What the Quality Supervisor Will Do
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of quality inspectors and technicians in an assembly manufacturing environment.
- Own product and process compliance to ISO 9001 and internal quality procedures, ensuring consistent quality from incoming materials through final shipment.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action for nonconformances using data-driven methods to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
- Partner closely with engineering, production, and program management to resolve quality issues and strengthen customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System, including audits, documentation, and KPI reporting tied to operational performance.
Preferred Background
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years in a quality role, including 2 years leading or supervising others in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9000/9001 standards and quality management principles.
- Hands-on experience with quality tools such as root cause analysis, corrective action processes, and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with standard software tools including Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and quality management platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with a passion for building high-performing teams and a culture of continuous improvement.
