Job Purpose
We are seeking a dependable and hard-working Industrial Laborer to assist with warehouse racking projects, light construction, and general labor assignments at our Mebane Receiving and Overstock facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work and supporting facility projects in a fast-paced environment. This is a seasonal/temporary position expected to last approximately 2 months. Occasional weekends may be required.

Major Accountabilities/Essential Duties
Racking & Construction Support
- Perform rack deconstruction, reconfiguration, and installation under supervision
- Load, unload, move, and stage racking components and materials
- Assist with measurement, alignment, anchoring, and assembly of storage racks
- Support layout changes and re-slotting projects within warehouse spaces
- Perform light construction tasks including basic framing, patching, painting, and minor carpentry
- Assist with facility upkeep, basic repairs, equipment moves, and area organization
- Support preventative maintenance activities by cleaning and preparing work areas
- Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools
- Assist Maintenance Technicians with non-technical tasks
- Stage tools, materials, ladders, and equipment
- Support equipment and production area setups and breakdowns
- Follow all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures
- Properly use PPE and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Report unsafe conditions or damaged equipment immediately
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete assignments on schedule
- Previous experience in general labor, construction, warehouse, or facilities support preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
- Willingness to learn new tasks and follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
- Ability to perform overhead work and use tools for extended periods
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
