Spokane Community College (SCC) seeks qualified candidates for an on-ground, adjunct (part-time) position instructing Psychology courses within the Social Sciences department. We seek applicants with a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner. SCC strives to attract faculty who are content experts in their field, and who are also knowledgeable about best practices, innovative teaching strategies, and effective instructional technologies to support students.
Classes will be taught **in-person at the SCC campus.** There may also be an opportunity to instruct hybrid or online classes in the future.

- **Prepare for and instruct classes on campus primarily**; may be opportunities for hybrid or online instruction in the future.
- Provide availability and accessibility to students through a combination of scheduled office hours, e-mail accessibility and other effective means of responsive and timely communication.
- Communicate expectations and establish clear grading criteria through appropriate instructional means, to include but be not limited to developing course syllabi, handouts, and materials supporting the instructional process; evaluating student progress and providing clear, timely feedback.
