Salary Range: $20.09 - $26.74
Starting salary for this position is: $26.74 (Hourly)
Employees hired at the entry step of this range receive salary step advancement after six months and every 12 months thereafter. An employee hired at anything higher than the entry step of the range will have salary step advancement after 12 months and every 12 months thereafter until they reach the top of the salary range. Each salary step advancement will be approximately a 5% increase.

Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Workforce Training & Continuing Education Program Manager, the Youth Camp Counselor provides camp support, activity setup, and assistance with general activities.
This position works closely with the Youth Camp Coordinator to ensure a safe learning environment for campers.
This is a non-permanent classified paid hourly position. Not to exceed 18 months.

- Support the youth camp program for 6th to 12th grade students. *
- Receive direction from and assist the Youth Camp Coordinator with activities. Prepare, set up, and take down activities. *
- Provide direction and assistance to youth participating in camp activities. *
- Ensure experiences are interactive, educational, and that students are engaged in completing the assignments. *
- Assist with transportation for company tours by ensuring all students are accounted for and adhering to
