Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) seeks qualified candidates for consideration of employment in an adjunct (part-time) faculty position in the Communication Studies program (CMST) in the Humanities and Social Science division. Communication Studies is part of a dynamic and multi-disciplinary department, Communication Arts and Modern Language, which include Drama and Film Studies, and 3 modern languages (French, Japanese and Spanish).
We seek applicants with a high degree of professionalism and reliability, a strong commitment to our students, and the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner across various modalities. The college strives for faculty who are content experts in communication studies and who are knowledgeable about best practices, innovative teaching strategies, and effective instructional technologies. Classes may be taught in the morning or afternoon, and may be delivered hybrid, F2F, or online modes of instruction.
