Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitizing surfaces to meet hotel standards
• Handle laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and chemical sprayers safely and effectively
• Manage chemical agent handling by following safety data sheets (SDS) protocols to ensure safe use of cleaning agents and chemicals
• Maintain sanitation standards in public areas including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and other shared spaces through regular cleaning and disinfecting
• Follow hotel emergency procedures in case of incidents or safety hazards, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts or cleaning supplies while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles with janitorial or hospitality backgrounds
• Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and floor care equipment operation
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety data sheet (SDS) compliance
• Excellent customer service skills to address guest needs courteously and professionally
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively during incidents
• Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling tasks associated with cleaning supplies and linens
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
