Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related components.
- Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform equipment repairs, including refrigeration units and boilers.
- Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects and installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service while addressing client concerns or questions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC installations.
- Experience in field service roles, demonstrating problem-solving skills in real-time situations.
- Ability to work with various tools, including ohmmeters for electrical testing.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Welding skills for equipment repair may be beneficial.
- Experience in appliance repair and property maintenance is advantageous.
