Spitz, The Employee’s Law Firm, is hiring an employment litigation attorney for our Columbus office. The clients we serve come to us after facing discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other workplace violations. $70,000 - $110,000 yearly

• Manage plaintiff-side employment cases from evaluation through litigation and resolution.

• Develop case strategies based on the evidence, applicable law, and each client’s goals.

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and persuasive briefs.

• Take and defend depositions and prepare clients and witnesses to testify.

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial work.

• Keep clients informed, explain their options clearly, and provide practical advice.

• Coordinate with attorneys and support staff to meet deadlines and move cases forward.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active Ohio law license in good standing.

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

• The ability to manage a caseload, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines.

• Sound professional judgment and careful attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients.

• Initiative, accountability, and a willingness to accept feedback.

• A commitment to employee advocacy and a collaborative approach to practicing law.

• Litigation experience preferred; prior employment-law experience is welcome but not required.
