What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Distribution Supervisor position at Spinrite?
The 2nd shift supervisor is responsible for maintaining productivity of all 2nd shift distribution associates and maintain accurate records.
Train 2nd shift distribution associates in all aspects of their responsibilities including job specific safety policies and procedures. Maintain productivity and monitoring performance of 2nd shift associates. Process all orders for distribution and incoming delivery and maintain accurate records of all goods in and out of storage in order to produce accurate daily reports of the work done. Maintain a fair and equal standard of discipline of company rules and safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be able to operate a stand-up forklift and pallet jack. Strong math, written, oral, data entry and computer skills in MS Office Excel and Work. Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Good working knowledge of operations within the department. Ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) scanners. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, walk long distances, push, pull, bend, stoop, squat.
