What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Supervisor- Weekend Shift position at Almac Group?
Almac Group is currently seeking a Distribution Supervisor (Weekend Shift) for our Durham, NC location. The Distribution Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the distribution warehouse and processes.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday 730am-8pm
15% Shift Differential
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Required Education:
Minimum 3 years work experience
Preferred Experience:
Medical, Vision & Dental benefits from the 1st of the month following start date
20 days PTO per year, accrued monthly following start date
12 holidays per year as well as one day for Annual Diversity Day

- Carry out all duties relating to processing and dispatch of shipping requests in accordance with GMP and all relevant Almac Clinical Services Standard Operating Procedures
- Supervise the Warehouse Coordinators and Warehouse Operatives
- Assist with creating and/or revising SOPs
- Investigate Distribution related discrepancies/queries and write or assist with writing a Quality Events
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Undergraduate degree
Minimum 3 years work experience
Preferred Experience:
- Pharmaceutical Experience
- Warehouse Experience
- Supervisory Experience Required
